In this article, I will cover a simple method to turn YouTube playlist into synced stream. For this purpose, I’m going to use a service, known as Stream Forever. This is a free service that lets you create looped video streams based on YouTube playlists. The stream then plays in sync on everyone’s device who are watching.
This way, you can create a stream of your song playlist, artist playlist, or any playlist on YouTube and watch that remotely together even if you are not actually together. With this service, you can create a synced stream of a YouTube video as well, so, you can use it in group projects, remote online study groups, and other such activities.
How to Turn YouTube Playlist into Synced Stream?
To create a looped stream, first, visit YouTube and copy the URL of the playlist or video you want to create a stream for. When you have the URL of the playlist/video, go to the Stream Forever website and paste the URL. After pasting the URL, click the Create button to make a stream based on that playlist.
Within a few seconds, this service makes a stream of the playlist and gives you a URL to that stream. As soon as the stream is generated, it starts playing. Then, you share that URL with others and watch the stream together.
When you or someone else opens the stream URL, it loads the YouTube player in full-screen mode with a big “Click to Play” button in the center. The stream keeps playing in the background with a faded layer on top and you can watch the stream simply by clicking the play button.
