This tutorial explains how to quickly preview files like macOS using PowerToys in Windows 11.

With this, you can now preview various type of files in Explorer without opening them.

For now, it supports following type of files.

How to Quickly Preview Files like MacOS using PowerToys in Windows 11?

The very first thing you need to do is download PowerToys from here. Make sure that you download the latest version from Windows Store. The latest release if available on GitHub as well if the store doesn’t work, you can always download the latest version from there.

Now, you just need to open the PowerToys and go to the Peek section. From here, you just have to enable it if it is not. Just save the changes and then open Explorer.
