Free Pronunciation Tool to Pronounce English Words, Clipboard Text on October 31, 2017 rated 4.6 of 5

PronunDict is a free software tool to pronounce English words, clipboard text. This is a simple tool which can show you the phonetic transcription of the words as you type them in it. Also, the software shows the pronunciation of closely related words as you type in it. And what is more exciting about this software is that you can even see the pronunciation of the clipboard text. It automatically detects the words stored on clipboard and then lists the pronunciation of each word. It works pretty fast when it comes to look up for English words in it.

PronunDict comes with some nice set of features that you may like. By default, it uses CMUdict as dictionary to look for words, but you can use a custom dictionary too. In addition to that, it allows you to use custom font for words and phonetic letters too. It supports wild card search that you can use to find the words matching a certain pattern you specify. The software can run on top of all windows and opens its interface automatically when it detects text on clipboard. However, the software lacks voice pronunciation and I hope that developer will consider adding it in the coming updates.
