AceStock is a free stock tracking software that shows real time alerts whenever prices of your stocks changes more than the limit that you have specified. AceStock keeps checking the stock quotes frequently for your chosen stocks. When it finds that price of some stock has breached pre-defined limit, it shows a real time alert in your taskbar.

We had earlier reviewed a similar stock manager software called JStock. It can manage your whole portfolio, and even send SMS alerts for your stocks. AceStock is not as advanced as JStock. However, it is extremely simple to use, and does not overwhelms you with tons of features. AceStock is completely focused on alerting you when prices of your stocks breach your  limits, and it does that very well.

After installing AceStock, you can define the stocks that you want to monitor, and the limits of price changes that are acceptable to you. AceStock will then keep working in the background. Whenever AceStock finds that price of some stock has breached your limits, you get a real time alert for that. AceStock download stock quotes from popular online services, like Yahoo.

AceStock has full international support, and can download stock prices from Yahoo, Yahoo UK, Money Central, Google Finance, AMFI India, India Times, Russian Trade System and Zagreb Stock Exchange.

There are many advantages of using this type of real time stock price alerting software:

  • You do not have to keep checking websites to track stock price changes.
  • You get alerts for price changes in real time – you do not have to find out next day or after few hours.
  • You actually don’t have to proactively track any stock price, AceStock takes care of that for you.

AceStock is really good, and extremely simple to use.
