This tutorial demonstrates how to use Superzoom feature in Instagram. Instagram has integrated many additional features to its mobile app like live video broadcasting, boomerang to create loop videos, etc. This time they have added another amazing feature named, “Superzoom“. This feature allows you to record a short and hilarious close-up video with a dramatic audio effect. The video length of Superzoom is only 5 seconds which makes it more interesting than the long boring videos. It is available for both iPhone and Android version of Instagram.

You can find this feature in the built-in camera of Instagram and record a close-up video just by clicking a button. After recording a Superzoom video, it also allows you to add stickers, doodles, and text on top of the video. Then you can either save it to camera roll, publish as a video on your timeline, or add it to your Instagram story.

We have also covered other interesting and useful tutorials on Instagram like, how to download stories, share panorama, etc.

How to Use Superzoom Feature in Instagram:

The Superzoom feature is available for both Android and iPhone versions of Instagram app. But, I will use my Android phone to explain it in this post.

To use this feature, simply open up Instagram app and then swipe the screen to the right to open the built-in camera. After that, simply scroll through the options visible at the bottom like Normal, Boomerang, etc. There you will find the “Superzoom” option.

Now, point the camera to any object or face for recording a Superzoom video clip. After that, tap on the “Circular” button at the bottom and then it will instant record a close-up video for you. In addition to that, it will also apply a dramatic audio effect automatically to the video.

Once the 5 second Superzoom video is recorded, it will open up the editor where you can add stickers, text, and draw doodles on top of the video. Once done, you will see some options at the bottom to save the video, add to story, and publish it.

Closing Words:

This is how you can use the Superzoom feature in Instagram to create short funny close-up videos. The additional dramatic sound effect makes it even more fun to use. This can come in handy to record a small clip with a surprise or shocked face and share with the world. Personally, I like this feature as it is pretty interesting new feature added to any social media apps.
