ColorVeil is a free software for Window to add a color filter over the browser, desktop, document viewer, video player, etc. You can either use a sepia color for nostalgia, red color for excitement, or a blue color for relaxation. If you don’t want to use them, then choose your own favorite color and apply to the screen. It also lets you control the opacity to dim or increase the brightness of the screen filter. This tool probably offers one of the best ways to minimize eye strain and irritation while using your PC.

One of the best and fun feature of this tool is that you can enable “Go Stealth”, and make it disappear from the system tray and taskbar. By hiding the screen filter settings using “Go Stealth”, you can easily play tricks on your friends for fun. You can also use it while recording screencasts to give an interesting look to the output files.
