IOU is a free Windows 10 debt manager app to keep track of loans taken or given by you. The app offers you much more than just loans tracking. You can keep track of recurring debts, loans, bills, personal debts, etc. If you create a account with the website of this app, then you can sync all you data and access it through different devices.

The Windows 10 debt manager app can be downloaded from the Windows 10 store or from the link given at the end of this article. The first time you start this app you will see a interface like the one shown below.

On this interface you can add a debt to your column or to others column. All the contacts you add will start appearing in your contact tab to the right of the window.

Let’s add a debt and see how it works:

Click on the plus button next to my debts and their debts. When you click the plus sign then a window like the one shown in the below screenshot will open up

In this window you can enter the amount you owe, the name of the contact you owe it too, add a comment, set a due date, etc. Once you are done adding details click the save button given in the top left corner of the window. This entry is added and can be seen in the app database.

Similarly, if it was not money but something that you owe, then that can be added to this list as well. From the second screenshot, select the thing tab right next to the money tab. Now you can add a description in the similar way as you did for money. The added items on the interface of the app can be seen in the above screenshot.

In case you have paid back or received a debt amount then you can cross it off your list by clicking the repaid button. In case you are making a partial payment to someone then this app can record that too.

As seen in the screenshot above, you paid some amount of the total amount. This can be added using the add payment button at the bottom of the window. As soon as you add a amount that you paid, the app will automatically calculate the remaining amount to be paid and start displaying that amount.
