Chrome Extension to See WordPress Stats

WordPress stats Chrome extension is a free Chrome extension to see WordPress stats of your WordPress blog in Google Chrome browser. This free extension shows live stats. You need to be running WordPress Stats plugin on your website to use this extension.

Once you install this extension, you just need to provide your blog name, and WordPress.com API key (you can get that by logging into your WordPress.com account, and then going to “My Account” section).

Once you have provided this information, this Chrome extension will start showing live stats of your WordPress stats. The stats show us a number in the icon, so that you always know your WordPress stats, without going anywhere. Also check out Footprint Analytics.

Apart from just number of page views, this plugin provides a lot more info. When you click on WordPress stats Chrome extension, you can also see “Referrers”, “Top Posts”, “Search Terms”, and “Clicks”. This information is organized in tab form, and you can just click on the tab to see relevant stats.

• WordPress.com discourages sharing API key with anyone. So, share your API key at your own risk.
• This plugin did not show me any stats after installation. It started showing stats only after next day started.
