DOit is a free reminder bot for Facebook Messenger, Slack, and Telegram. Using this bot, you’ll be able to create reminders for any specific time and get notified while using your favorite messengers (Facebook, Slack, or Telegram). To create reminders, all you need to do is integrate this bot with any of these messengers and command it by typing to set a reminder. For example, you can ask the bot to remind you to watch GOT in 30 minutes, or call someone in an hour, etc. Currently, it can only understand the English and Russian language.

When the reminder message appears, it will also has the options to postpone the reminder for 10 minutes, 30 minutes or any custom time. You can also dismiss it by hitting the option “Done”. If you want to cancel any reminder before the specified time, then you can simply send a request to the bot by typing “Cancel” and the job will be done instantly.

Unlike other online reminder services, DOit is a simple bot and integrates seamlessly with Facebook Messenger, Slack, and Telegram to notify you of important things while using them. It doesn’t pop up any alert window or starts ringing, and it simply sends you a message about the reminder in any of the supported messengers you’re using for this bot.

How to Create and Get Reminders on Facebook Messenger, Slack, and Telegram:

Step 1: Before you get started, the first thing you need to do is go to the homepage of DOit and choose between Facebook Messenger, Slack, or Telegram for integrating this bot. As an example, I will integrate DOit with Facebook Messenger to demonstrate it on this post.

Step 2: Let’s assume that you also want to use DOit with Messenger. So, as soon as you click on the option “Send To Messenger”, the bot will get integrated instantly and you’ll see a new user as “DoitBot” in your contact list. Now, you can start messaging the bot as commands for creating reminders.

Step 3: For example, suppose you want to create a reminder for watching Game of Thrones, then simply click on the bot name and type “remind me to watch Game of Thrones”. After that, it will ask “When do you have to do it?” and then you can type commands like “in 15 minutes”, “in 30 minutes”, and so on and hit Enter. Then the bot will create the reminder and simply send you a reply with the reminder content and the date and time for notifying you.

My Final Verdict:

DOit is a pretty interesting reminder bot for the famous messengers: Facebook Messenger, Slack, and Telegram. No more using noisy reminder software, as you can use this simple bot to get reminders as messages. Personally, I think this bot is very useful for the people who uses Slack, Telegram, and Facebook Messenger frequently and also happens to forget important things. Go ahead and give it a try.
