Locket LockScreen is a free Android lockscreen app to get top stories on lockscreen. The app displays top stories from a wide range of categories which you can customize as per your choice and preference. All the news items get displayed on your lockscreen with high quality images and bold and clear headline. You can swipe left and right to go to next or previous story.

You can also choose to share the top stories, save them to app for reading later, and open the camera. The other customization options are choosing the unit of temperature, update frequency, and check number of glances on lock screen each day.

When you will launch the app, you will have to sign-up with the app. The other thing which you need to do before you start using the app is to choose the area of interest. You can choose from: News, Tech, Business, Art & Design, Food, Sports, Travel, Games, TV & Movies, Health & Fitness, Music, Celeb & Gossips.

Choose Categories

On choosing the topics, the app is all set for being used. You can see that the lock screen has one of the top story for you to see. You can go to next/previous story by swiping left/right while the Blue colored ring is the one which you have to use for performing different actions.

Locket Lock Screen

When you tap and hold on it, you will see the different icons surrounding the ring area. You have to swipe the ring towards that particular icon for performing the action. These icons are (from left to right): Read, Share, Save, Camera, and Unlock.

Lock Screen Options

  • Read: Swipe towards this icon to read the complete story. It will open up the story within the app, but you can also view it in the browser.

Reading Story

  • Share: Share the story with others by swiping to this direction.

Sharing Option

  • Save: If you don’t want to read any story right now then swipe towards this icon to save the story within the app for reading later.

Save to Read Later

  • Camera: Launch camera app of your Android device directly using this option.
  • Unlock: Swipe towards it to unlock the phone and go to device’s home screen.

As I said you can also save the article for reading later, so you can check all your saved article from within the app as shown in the screenshot below.

The other things which you can check from within the app is the number of times you glanced upon the stories. You can also customize a lot of other settings.
