Here is a free Chrome extension to remove endorsements, learn skills, add to your feed box, and other options from LinkedIn feed and profile page. This overall helps to make LinkedIn clutter free. You must have noticed that on the feed page of LinkedIn, there is an “Add to your feed” box where it recommends people to follow. Along with that, “Learn Skills” option is also visible on the right part in the profile section where it prompts you to add new skills with some courses. Though it is good for some users, many others find it irrelevant. If you are one of those users, then this Chrome extension is gonna help you.

The extension that I have covered in this article is named as “LinkedBetter“. It provides a pop-up where different options are available. For each option, there is a turn on/off button. Using those buttons, you can remove the associated boxes from LinkedIn feed and profile section to make it better.

add to your feed box removed

Let’s have a look at the example which is added in the screenshot above. As you can see, there was “Add to your feed” box which I removed with the help of this extension.

How To Remove “Add to Your Feed”, Learn Skills, Endorsements, and Other Boxes from LinkedIn Profile Page and LinkedIn Feed?

Add this Chrome extension with the help of link given at the end of this article. After that, open LinkedIn in a tab.

Now click on the icon of this extension. It will be available on the right part (next to omnibox) of Chrome. A pop-up will open. There you will see:

  • Birthday Stories.
  • Learn Skills.
  • Congratulation Stories.
  • What people are talking about you.
  • Endorsements on profile pages.
  • Add to your feed, and
  • Re-activate LinkedIn premium UpShell.

turn on off buttons and use update option

All such options come in feed or profile sections of LinkedIn. To hide or remove any of these boxes, use the SHOW/HIDE button and then click on UPDATE option.

It will refresh the LinkedIn page and you will be able to see the changes.

The Conclusion:

LinkedIn is a nice platform to make connections with others and increase your professional relationships. It is also putting some good efforts to make its users happy and provide a good user experience. The recent effort in this direction is that it revamped the LinkedIn Pages. Still, there are some other things like the extra options (as mentioned in the article) visible on LinkedIn feed and profile, which distract users from the main or relevant content. This Chrome extension is a fantastic and very simple option here to hide such extra content by just a few mouse clicks.
