Billeo Offer Assistant: Get Coupons for Online Shopping

Billeo is a browser toolbar that searches for coupon codes and offers over the internet for the items that you are trying to buy. Whenever you search for an item in your favorite search engine (google, bing, yahoo), Billeo searches for available coupon codes, and offers about that item in its database. If it finds something, it displays an icon with your search results, and taking your mouse over the icon will show you the details of the offer that Billeo found for you. Billeo does all this for free, and helps you to save some money while shopping online.

Billeo is really a very useful software. This is one free software that can actually end up saving you some money. Whenever you are doing online shopping, it is very difficult to be aware of all the best offers and coupon codes for that product that might be out there. Billeo takes care of all this for you. Billeo refers to this feature as “Offer Assistant”.

Apart from showing offers directly with search results, Billeo also finds you better offers when you are trying to purchase something on some online websites (like LuggageOnline.com). When you add some item to your shopping cart, Billeo sees if it can find a better offer for you, or a coupon code for that item in its database. If it does, it shows you a small message and you can choose to use that offer or coupon code. All for free, of course.

Here are some other features of Billeo:

• The offer assistant will present offers that are preloaded by Billeo in its database.
• Billeo also presents available offers from Visa, AMEX, and Upside
• Billeo can show offers in Google Shopping results as well.
• At checkout, Billeo will remind you of the offer/discount, remind you to use a specific payment card (if needed), and show you/ prompt you to automatically fill the promo code (if necessary)

Most of us have browser toolbars that do not serve very useful purpose. Billeo is the one that we need to have. Billeo has some other great features as well, like storing your passwords, completing forms for you, and storing receipts of your online shopping. However, I will cover those in some other post.

Billeo works with IE 6 and above, and Firefox 3 and above. It does not works with Google Chrome, or Safari as yet. You can use it on Mac with Firefox.
