Paste Manager is a freeware specially designed for the purpose of creating keyboard shortcuts for your frequently used texts. This means that if you are using certain texts frequently which could be your email address, login, password etc., you can set keyboard shortcuts for these texts so that as soon as you use the shortcut, the text automatically gets pasted. So here we are dealing with a free paste manager that is suitable for adding any kind of text in the input field hence saving your time. So now you don’t have to re-type any information while filling important forms online or other details, because a simple combination of hot keys will do it for you!

Installation of this free Paste Manager

The installation is zippy and quick. Simply download and install the paste manager in just a few mouse clicks. All you need to do is keep your eyes open since if you simply proceed without looking at the installation windows, you will also end up installing Babylon toolbar and setting it as your search engine. So let that remain Google anyways! However, that’s completely your choice.

Using Paste Manager

Thee snapshot above, shows the interface of Paste Manager. The interface is simple and unsophisticated, hence apt for beginners and advanced users alike. It seems intuitive and hence there would be no issues using this software. As you can see, there are already some fields present and you can edit the existing fields as well as add new fields.

Editing a field

To edit a field, all you need to do is double click on the particular field. A window will appear where you need to make the changes.

The snapshot above shows editing the fields is a cakewalk. You just need to enter the text and choose the hotkey combination. Click on ‘Ok’ once you are done!

Adding a new field

Hit the ‘Add’ button on the main window. Complete the entries in the new window and you are done!  The window would be similar to the one that gets opened when you want to edit the fields.

Click on ‘Ok’ and the field is added.

You can also delete a particular field, by choosing the field and clicking on ‘Delete’ option.

As you can see in the snapshot, we created keyboard shortcuts for a few texts. Using the keyboard shortcuts, these texts can be pasted anywhere.

Verdict

Paste Manager works well on windows operating system including Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, XP, Vista and 7. I would recommend this software as it saves a lot of time while you are filling some fields in a form or even while creating a document. This reduces redundancy and hence offers you a performance boost. Consider the small and compact size of the software, it doesn’t take up much memory space and hence you can install it on your system. I am pretty sure you will find this software pretty handy if you work online. So this is worth a try!
