OutFax is a free online fax service to send free fax to Hong Kong fax numbers. OutFax lets you attach Word, Excel, GIF, PDF, JPEG, and TIFF etc files with your faxes.
I was not able to test this free fax service because I do not have a fax number in Hong Kong. But OutFax does not mentions about any limitation on number of faxes that can be sent per month, or number of pages that can be sent per fax.
One of the interesting features that OutFax mentions is that your cover pages and attachments can be in multilingual format. OutFax supports English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German etc more than 30 languages.
When you send a fax using OutFax, it sends you status message of that fax on your email id. So, you willcome to know whether it waas defliver or did it run into some problem.
