As usual there is snags.

1. A $6 "test" charge.

2. Credit card only, even w/ paypal.

Oh well, no free domain for me :P.

@Brad: There is no snag at all. The test charge is a standard practice to validate your credit card. It is reverted back immediately. And I registered my domain through Paypal, so not sure why you mentioned that it is credit card only. In fact, this is the only true free domain name registration offer I have came across in a long time.
