As we all know by now that Wikipedia has blacked out its pages in protest of the SOPA bill. When you search for anything on the homepage of the website you are redirected to the page shown in the below screenshot.

So for all those people who are left stranded, wanting to access Wikipedia for work, school, or personal use you still have hope.
Here is how to access Wikipedia during blackout:
- At the end of the url of the page you are wanting to view, just type ” ?banner=none “
- For example if you are searching for software then your url would be http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software?banner=none
- You can type the same text at the end of any url in the address bar.
- You can also access Wikipedia through the mobile version of the website.
