The Windows 10 URL shortner app can be downloaded using the Windows 10 store or from the link given at the end of this article. When you start this app you will see a minimalist interface like shown in the screenshot below.
The given box on the interface is for entering the link you want to shorten. Just paste the link in the box and click on the do it button at the bottom and your URL will be shortened. A shortened URL with is corresponding QR code is shown in the screenshot below.
Click on the more options drop down and you will get more options like custom URLs and statistics tracking, as seen in the screenshot below.
