Here are 2 free websites to view Sketch file online. Sketch (.sketch) files are vector files which are created by Sketch program available for Mac. Since Sketch files require that specific program to view their content. Still, there exist two free websites to add and view Sketch files. I have covered both the websites here.
While one website here works offline, another website lets you upload unlimited sketch files publicly, share sketch files with others, and provide other features. An option to view and download the Sketch files of other users is also present.
Let’s check these two free websites to view Sketch file one by one. I will start with my favorite option.
Sketch Web Viewer
It is a very simple application where viewing Sketch files (Sketch 43 files) is pretty easy. Here is the homepage. It doesn’t upload your file anywhere and works offline completely. All you have to do is open its homepage and then drag n drop some Sketch file or add it using the available option. You can also use the demo file to test how this Sketch Web Viewer website works. When the file is added, you can see its content.
It also lets you inspect the frame values of layer of Sketch file by just hovering the mouse cursor. You will be able to see the height and width, top and left values. This Sketch viewer doesn’t let you store files online or share them with anyone. It is just a straightforward option to add and view the Sketch 43 file content.
SketchViewer (Homepage), as the name suggests, is pretty good Sketch file viewer. You can create a free account and then store unlimited Sketch files online. The feature to share the uploaded file is also there. It also lets you view demo files. Apart from that, you can access Sketch files of other users available publicly, download that file, view file info (like file tags, file views and downloads, file size, etc.). All these features are good but a few times the website was not working and it took some time to process the uploaded file. Otherwise, based on features, the website is simply awesome.
In its free plan, you can upload unlimited Sketch files publicly. However, the maximum size for a single Sketch file is 50 MB. If you need to store files privately, upload more than 50 MB file, and work with unlimited collaborators, then you need to get its pro plan. If the free plan is good enough for you, then no need to buy any pro plan.
There are two good free Sketch file editor software also available for Windows (you can check them here). If you need online viewers for the Sketch files, then these 2 websites are useful. The first website is pretty good to view Sketch files offline and the second website is great to store unlimited Sketch files publicly. If you know about some other Sketch file viewer websites, then feel free to share it in the Comments section below.
