AutoData is a free Android app to auto turn off mobile internet at regular intervals. The app turns off your Android smartphone’s mobile internet at a regular interval and then turns it on for 1 minute to check for any updates. Basically, this app has two fixed intervals: One is for turning mobile internet connection off for first time and other one is the regular interval.

For example, let’s say you have set first interval as 10 minutes and regular interval as 5 minutes. It means that app will turn off your mobile internet after 10 minutes of locking the phone for the first time and afterwards for a regular interval of 5 minutes. Between these regular intervals, app turns On internet connection for 1 minute to check your notifications. If you unlock your phone in the middle of this process, then app turns On your internet connection, and then again turns it off once you lock the phone.

Using This Android App to Auto Turn Off Mobile Internet At Regular Interval:

The AutoData Android app has a very easy to follow setup process. The app has no great UI or other extra options, as it has all options focused solely on app’s core task. It only has options for setting time interval for the turning off mobile internet for the first time after locking it (known as Wait) and the other one for regular intervals (known as Repeat Every).

AutoData Interface

As you can see the interface of the above, you have to tap on Settings option to get the drop down menu in front of Wait and Repeat Every option to choose the time interval of your preference. For Wait option, you can choose the time interval as: 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, or 60 minutes. Similarly, for Repeat Every option, you can choose the time interval as: 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 minutes.

Set Time Interval

On selecting the time intervals, tap on Set to save them. You can also set time intervals to default by tapping on Set Default. For my testing purpose, I have set Wait interval as 1 minute and Repeat Every interval as 10 minutes.

Now, you can see that my Android smartphone’s mobile internet is active (shown with E symbol at top) at 10:39 when I locked it, but the app has auto turned it off after 1 minute. You can see the screenshot on the right at 10:41. It was turned off after 1 minute because I had set Wait time interval as 1 minute.

On the right side, you can see that app has turned off mobile internet connection after completion of 1 minute.
