To the excitement of all the music lovers out there, YouTube has added a new feature to it, especially made for everything that has to do with music! This new home for music (YouTube Music Feed) will enable you to find your favorite music videos (originals, covers, parodies, and remixes) in one place. In other words, you will be able to search music by genre, recommended songs, subscription (if any), trending music videos, etc. You can also listen to full albums of your favorite artists in high quality audio. Moreover, YouTube has also introduced YouTube Music Key Beta (on monthly subscription basis), which will provide ad free music videos, background listening and offline playback.
Exploring the New YouTube Music Feed
Exploring the YouTube has been one of my favorite time pass! It doesn’t matter where you start! If you are on a YouTube video watching spree, like I often do, you might probably start with an upcoming movie trailer; and an hour later, it is highly likely that you might be watching a preposterous documentary on how the Universe will implode in 2020!
This is what YouTube offers! Almost 100 hours of video is uploaded on YouTube every minute! So the varieties of videos also increase exponentially.
YouTube Music Feed filters only the music videos from millions of videos, making it possible to find all music videos in one place!
You can log in to your YouTube (Google) account or simply go to www.youtube.com to start exploring the music feeds. From the main page, simply click on Music, the link below the search bar.
YouTube gives you the feel of an intuitive music player, where all your songs are categorized systematically. Under the YouTube Mixes section, you will find nonstop playlists based on a song or artist!
You can also look up for your favorite song or artist from the search bar. Simply type the artist/song name, and it will show you the YouTube Mix playlist, which will include all the songs related to that artist/song. This new feature makes YouTube a lot more music-oriented, which is cool!
The next section gives you the Recommended music videos. YouTube intuitively goes through your watch history, and compiles all the songs based on that history! You will find such music videos under this section.
If you have subscribed to any YouTube channels related to your favorite artists (including fan-based), you will find music feeds uploaded in those channels under the My Subscription section (You need to sign in to your YouTube account to view this list).
The Play It Again section will show all the music videos that you have watched earlier!

Under the Trending Music Videos, you will find exclusive YouTube official music videos of the latest artists/songs. This section features the leading and trending artists, who currently own any music chart! You will never miss any artists or the latest number from your favorite artist!
The last section is comprehensive in the sense that it goes beyond time and genre! The Top Music Videos by Genre list down the most popular music videos (based on views) of the week by genre or style. Here you will find playlists of Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, etc. Simply go to your favorite genre, and listen to an endless playlist from the music style!
YouTube Music Key
On top of this YouTube has introduce a service which will further enhance your music listening experience by providing ad free music! The YouTube Music Key will not only let you listen to ad free music, but it will also enable you to play music videos on the background as well as when you are offline. You cannot ask for more!
However, it is a monthly subscription service, which is available at a discounted price of $7.99. This also includes a subscription to Google Play Music, giving you access to millions of music songs and expert-curated playlists! The app is still in its Beta mode and you need to check out the availability in your location by submitting your email address and your country name!
