These Chrome extensions will come very handy in protecting your children online from watching adult or mature content as they block them straight away. Some of them even come with advanced filtering options and allow you to block content related to a particular topic on the internet like drug, suicide, etc. So check these free Chrome porn blockers and protect your child from any negative content flowing on the internet.

Do note that the purpose of these Chrome extensions is to stop your kids (or anyone else) from getting exposed to porn websites accidentally. However, if someone really wants to open porn sites, then these extensions won’t be of much use as these can be easily disabled or uninstalled altogether. In such cases, some system wide parental filters or DNS filters (like the ones linked above) would be more helpful.

The only option to access the illicit content is to remove it or disable it. It would have been best if this Chrome extension protected this action by some sort of security but it is very good Chrome extension that you can use to prevent your children from adult content.
Block Porn websites on Chrome on Chrome using Stop-It:
Stop-It is another Chrome porn blocker that you can use to protect kids from adult content on the web. This Chrome extension works in the same manner as Simple Porn Blocker. To block porn sites using Stop-It, download it from the link provided above, it will then automatically block porn sites on your Chrome browser. It totally blocks a porn site and doesn’t allow to enter into it.
Block pornography on Chrome using Blocksi Web Filter:
Blocksi is another porn blocker extension for Chrome. It is an advanced Chrome extension to block pornographic websites and gives you the option to protect the extension. So, it will be a bit difficult for your child or anyone else to change Blocksi Web Filter settings.
To start blocking adult content using Blocksi, download it from the link provided above and it will then guide you through its wizard to setup Blocksi Web Filter. You can choose from 2 preset filters: Adult or Children. It automatically blocks porn content in its Children preset. You have to manually turn off adult content in its Adult preset.

MetaCert is another Google Chrome porn blocker. This Chrome extension provides 2 modes of browsing: “Just for Kids” and “Safe browsing”. If you enable its “Just for Kids” mode then you can only browse kids websites approved by MetaCert for kids. In its Safe Browsing mode, you can select content that you want to block on the internet like Drugs, Suicide, etc.
It offers two different levels to block the porn content: Strong and Extra strong. In its Strong mode, it will block billions of porn websites but won’t block websites that contain sex education content. Extra Strong modes strictly block all websites that contain adult content. To set these preferences, right-click on its Chrome extension and select options.
After you have blocked porn content from its options it will then start blocking adult sites, as you can see in the screenshot that I’ve included below

Anti-Porn PoliceWEB.net is another simple Chrome porn blocker that blocks adult websites on the go. It doesn’t show any message like blocked porn content or any other warnings, it will simply not load these porn sites. Just download it from the link provided above and it will then start blocking or loading pornographic sites. It will also protect you against malicious and phishing sites on the internet.

In this article, I have listed 5 Chrome extensions to block pornography. All of these extensions, block porn content straight away and doesn’t give the option to view or surf them unlike other porn blocking Chrome extensions around the web.
