BitComet provides a tree structure on the left side to give Windows Explorer like look. The main window on the right shows the files being download, and the tracker info.
Here are some of the features of BitComet download client in various modes:
BitTorrent Download Client:
- Preview MP3, wmv, and some other file formats while downloading these files.
- Intelligent Connection Optimization and Intelligent Disk Cache.
- Torrent share to exchange Torrent while downloading
- Set priority of files in Torrent to manage which files finish first.
HTTP/FTP Download Client:
- Finds multiple mirror sites of the file being downloaded, so as to greatly increased download speed.
- Files are split into multiple sections, which are downloaded together to increase download speed.
- Preview MP3, wmv, and some other file formats while downloading these files.
- BitComet has an interesting feature of integrated P2P downloading with HTTP download. So, when you choose to download file from a HTTP server, BitComet finds other P2P connections also with that file, and downloads from those as well. This greatly increases your download speed, even if HTTP server puts a limit on bandwidth usage.
