Social Hunt is a free web app that lets you track Twitter users and get notifications when they update their timeline with new post. You will quickly get email notification(s) and won’t miss any new photo or tweet posted by those users.
Interesting thing about this app is that it lets you track even those users who you are not following or who are not following you. Until their Twitter profile is public, it will track those people, and notify you. So, even while working on PC and when not using Twitter, you will remain updated with posts of your favorite users.
You can track multiple users in a few seconds. Moreover, you can also untrack a particular user, whenever needed.

How to Track Twitter Users and Get Email Notifications When They Tweet?
Using this app is an easy task. Here are the steps to track Twitter users and get email notifications:
Step 1: Open the home page of this app and login to your Twitter account. Authorize this app to access your Twitter account and move to the second step.
Step 2: In this step, you will see the list of all those users who you are following. With every individual user, three options to get notifications will be available: Get notified immediately, every 3 hours, or daily. Select the desired option and tap on Track button. That particular user will be added to the track list.
Similarly, you can track your favorite followers. To track those users that are not in your followers list, use the search box. Enter the Twitter handle to search that particular user. After this, set notification option for that user and add him to the track list.
Step 3: In this step, you need to provide your email address in which you want to receive notifications. Enter the email address and tap on Done button.
After this, you will see all those users that you have added to the track list. You can track more people or can close its interface.
Step 4: Whenever any of those users will tweet, this app will send you email notification. Open that email and you can read the tweet. Option to read that notification directly on Twitter account, will also be available.
