Christmas 2013 Theme extension for Firefox adds Christmas theme and Christmas countdown clock to Firefox. You can see Christmas countdown clock next to address bar. The Christmas themes makes your Firefox look like in holiday mood. In addition, it also provides direct links for some shopping websites, like, Amazon and eBay.

This Christmas theme for Firefox plugin actually provides many other themes as well, and Christmas theme is the default theme that is installed when you install this plugin.

When you install this plugin, it decorates Address bar, menu bar, bookmark bar, as well as Status bar. You can see my Firefox browser after applying this Christmas theme in screenshot below.

Christmas Countdown Clock for Firefox:

Apart from the Christmas theme, another interesting thing that this plugin adds is a Christmas countdown clock. It adds that clock on the right side of address bar. It shows days until Christmas. As each day passes, the number of days keep reducing, keeping up the excitement that Christmas is approaching and is just round the corner.

Get Even More Themes:

As I mentioned in the beginning, this plugin is not just for Christmas theme. It can actually get you many more themes. When you install this plugin, you will see a new icon getting installed next to Address bar. Click on that icon to open up the menu as in screenshot below.

In this, you see an option of “Get More Interactive Themes”. Clicking on this option will take you to another website from where you can download many more themes for Firefox.

And if you want to get into even more Christmas mood, you can check out these desktop Christmas countdown clocks and desktop Christmas tree.

Final Thoughts:

This Christmas theme for Firefox is pretty good, especially because it comes with Christmas countdown clock as well. It has some shopping links too, but they would obviously be affiliate links, to support the developers (which is completely ok with me). However, I noticed that I got tired of this theme quickly, as it is quite vibrant and make it difficult to read website names on tabs as well as my icons became difficult to locate. But that’s just me. Maybe you would like this theme the way it is. So, might be a good idea to try it out.
