Twitter API has made it so easy to post tweets from almost any application. I have already mentioned how to post tweets from Microsoft Outlook, and even update your Microsoft Media Center status on Twitter. Today I found interesting posts about posting tweets from Microsoft Excel.
JP has created this nice excel add-in that you can use to directly post tweets from excel. He has created versions for both Microsoft Excel 2000-2003, and Microsoft Excel 2007. Apart from this, source code is also available that you can choose to customize. Adding this plugin makes it really easy to post tweets directly from Excel.
This excel add-in is built-on the code that Chandoo had posted earlier to create your own Twitter client using Microsoft Excel. This post explains very simply how you can accomplish that.
Both JP and Chandoo have done a terrific job in making this add-in, and it is really useful especially in office environment where you do not want to install a full featured Twitter client.
