Strawberry Weather is a free Windows 10 weather forecast app with upcoming weather alerts and forecast for 5 days. The app shows you forecast for weather of your current location or a location of your choice.
The Windows 10 weather forecast app can be downloaded from the Windows 10 store or from the link given at the end of this article. When you start the app, a pop will show up asking you to allow the app to detect your current location so it can show you the local weather. Once that is done, you are shown your local weather forecast as can be seen in the screenshot below.
The current local weather is displayed on your app screen along with the forecast for the whole day. If you want to see the forecast for next 5 days click on the forecast button at the bottom left side of the window. This will bring up a forecast window like the one shown in the screenshot below.
From the drop down next to forecast you can select the day for which you want to see the forecast for. You can also change the location for which you want to see weather forecast.
The settings option given at the bottom right of the window lets you change quite a few things.
Like in the above screenshot you can see the settings are divided into categories, let’s look at them below:
Core: In this you can change the metric unit in which temperature and all are displayed. You can change the city for which you want to see forecast for. You can also change the time format to 12 hours or 24 hours format.
Notifications: In the notifications section you can choose how frequently you want the alerts to appear. You can also choose if you want weather alerts or generic alerts as well. Choose to display weather details on lock screen, etc.
Look: In the look section you can choose how the weather icons appear on your screen. You can choose between simple, emoji, and minimalistic. You can also choose the orientation of the weather screen.
Theme: this option allows you to change the theme of the app into one of the many colors offered by this app.
