Smarty Pins (or Google Maps Smarty Pins) is a very interesting online application that helps to play trivia quizzes. Questions are based on geographic locations, therefore Google maps is available there for giving the answers. To give answer to any question, you need to drop a pin on a particular location available in given map. It provides random questions based on Arts & Culture, Entertainment, History & Current Events, Sports & Games, Science & Geography, and Featured Topics.
Few thousand kilometers (as credit) are given to you for giving the answers. You need to give as many correct answers as you can. For each wrong answer, kilometers are deducted (or lost). Your game will be over when all kms become ‘0’. Then you need to play the game again.

To play trivia quizzes with this application, you need to access its homepage. Link for its homepage is available at the end of this review. Smarty Pins require no sign up process, so you can directly start the game.
On its homepage, click on Start a new game button to play quiz with random categories. But if you have to choose a particular category, then you can use ‘Select a category‘ option to choose your favorite category for playing the quiz.
When quiz is started, you will see a question at left side. At the middle page of quiz, a pin will be provided to you. Read the question and drop the pin at the right location. This will be marked as your answer to that question.
If you are not sure, you can place the pin at another place as well. But if you are sure enough, submit your answer. If answer is right, your kilometers remain safe. If answer is wrong, it will place a green pin as right answer. Also, distance of your answer from the right answer will also be shown to you. That much distance will be deducted from credited kilometers.
When all your kilometers reach zero, your game will be over.
