Get More Information in Email when Someone Follows You:

Most of us configure our Twitter accounts to notify us whenever someone follows us. That is a nice feature that Twitter sends you out a notification email. But the email does not tells you a lot about your follower. That’s where Topify comes into picture. It replaces boring email from Twitter with more powerful email.

If you have subscribed to Topify, then instead of Twitter emails, you will get Topify email. Whenever someone follows you, Topify will send you an email which will contain bio of your follower, his/her last tweet, and number of friends/followers. This information quickly tells you a lot about your new follower.

Follow Back someone by just replying to Email:

Based on the information that Topify sent you in email, if you decide to follow someone back, you can do so by just replying to that email. Topify will automatically take care of the rest.

Reply to a Direct Message by Replying to Email:

Whenever someone sends you a direct message, Topify will send you the message in email. If you want to reply to that direct message, just reply to that email with your message, and Topify will send that message to your friend.

Block or Unfollow somone from Email:

When you get an email about a direct message, you can also choose to unfollow him/her, and also Block ‘em. For that, just click on relevant links in email. Topify also integrates with Twitter’s spam reporting feature. So, you can click on the spam link in Topify email, and Topify will pass that information to Twitter via API.

Topify is currently in beta, and you need to register on its site to get an invite. There is no mention on website that how long will it take before you get an invite. I am really excited with Topify, and hoping to get my invite soon :)

One feature that I think Topify should add is to be able to update Twitter status by sending email (just like Btween.Us does), and also get tweets on email (like TweetSwitch).
