Super Duper Notepad is a free portable notepad that helps to create and save rich text format (rtf) files. It lets you insert media files to your text file by just dragging n dropping the required media files to its interface. It then shows icons of inserted media. Although the interface doesn’t provide a preview of those files, but your text file can be saved with all added media files.
This free portable notepad comes with many other interesting features as well. It lets you capture whole desktop screen and save the screenshot to PC as png image. Moreover, a basic calculator is also provided by this notepad. Apart from this, it provides a colorful interface that makes editing the text files more interesting. If you want, you can also change the background color to any of your favorite color.

How To Use This Free Portable Notepad?
Go to its homepage by using the link available at the end of this review. Download its zip archive which is only 284 KB. Extract the downloaded zip and run its application file.
On its interface, you can open any text file to edit it. Or else, create a new file, and insert required media files (image, audio, or video). For inserting the media files, you can simply drop those files to its interface. After this, you can save your text file.
By default, its interface comes with preset background color, but you can change it with any other preset color. If you want, a custom color can also be selected by you. Background Color option present under Settings menu is used to change its interface color.
Capture Screen and Use Calculator:
These are two basic, but special features that are not provided by many other similar text editors. Using the Capture Screen tool, you can take a snapshot of full desktop screen. Captured screen can be saved to required location as png image. Access Tools menu to use this feature.
A calculator option is also available in Tools menu. This opens a basic calculator to perform simple calculations.
Other Features:
- It automatically detect URLs present in your text file.

- Word wrap facility is also present.

Conclusion:
I personally liked its colorful interface and feature to insert media files inside the text file. However, it should let preview images, and provide some other features as well. Spell checker and word counter could be the valuable addition (if possible) to this free portable notepad.
