You will have the choice what type of output you want. Normally, when we copy some content from webpage and paste it in MS Word or some other text editor, the content is pasted in the original format. Once the extension is installed, open a webpage whose content you want to copy. After that, select the webpage content and open right-click context menu for that selection. There you will see “Copycat” option. Access that option and you will see sub-options, which are:
- HTML (only <a> tag).
- Raw strings.
- HTML (no attributes).
- Plaintext (trimmed), etc.
Click on any option and the webpage content will be copied to clipboard in that particular format. After that, you can paste that clipboard content in any text editor.
