The Bloxy World. Brick For Kids is a free iPhone app for kids which lets them make different 3D shapes, buildings, etc. using the blocks. The kids can create almost anything about which they can imagine. The app has blocks of different shapes and sizes so that kids can make anything.
Kids can also use custom models, like: planes, cars, buildings, etc to make their creation look more realistic. The app also has various tasks for your kids to do, which in turn rewards them with gold coins. The app lets you share creation of kids on the Bloxy Gallery or share it via Facebook and Twitter.
Creating Different Shapes Using Bloxy World iPhone App:
The Bloxy World app can be downloaded for free either by searching on iTunes App Store or by clicking on the link given at the end of this review. You need to register with the app using the registration form provided within the app. The registration is required to save your creation for future so that you can stop and continue the same project from where you left off.
To start creating a new project, tap on Play tab from the home screen of the app. You have to choose the size of the base on which you will create your project.
On the next screen, you have to set the scene settings, like: background wallpaper, base color, globe, camera rotation etc. After setting all these things, tap on Green color tick mark at bottom of the screen to go to creation arena.
Now, your creation arena will look similar to the one shown in the screenshot below. Here, the Block Menu at left of the screen displays the different block shapes available which can be included in your creation.
Tapping on it will open the block store. You can swipe the screen to go through all the blocks and select the one you want by tapping.
There is a multicolored strip at bottom of the screen. It is for choosing the color of the block. When you have selected the shape and color of the block, then it will be visible to you on the base.
The Block Editing Tools at the bottom of the screen contains the tools which will help you in creating the model you want to create.
- Undo: Remove any step that you might have done using this tool
- Edit: Opens up the tool strip.
- Preview: It shows the image of the block which is selected by you.
- Color: You can change the color of the block anytime from here.
- Block Height: This tool lets you increase the height of the selected block to any extent that you want.
- Exit: Tap this option to close the tool strip.
- Rotation: If you want to rotate the block, then you can do so from here.
You have to apply your imagination and creativity along with the tools mentioned above to create the perfect project.
To save or share the project created by you, tap on the Saving and Sharing Options at the bottom right corner to reveal the options. This sidebar contains following options: Share on Facebook/Twitter/email, Save, Take Screenshot, Upload To Bloxy Gallery, Clear All Blocks, Scene Settings, and Exit.

While you are creating the project of your imaginations, you can collect several gold coins, diamonds etc. You have to perform different tasks to get these rewards. Some of the tasks are simple while others are difficult. All these gold coins, diamonds, etc. collected by you can be used to purchase custom blocks and shapes from the Bloxy Models and Shop.
